And now for my Mother’s day tribute…
Although my mother is gone, I’m reminded of her every day as I look in the mirror and say, “Wow, I look like my mother more each day”!
I have been blessed to have had a mother that took such great care of me, even tucked me in bed when we were taking care of her in her final days. I have such loving memories of her playing her Mozart and Chopin piano concertos. It seems like yesterday I was playing in the back yard and she was canning pickles in the kitchen!
And so for all the moms out there, I send you my blessings for a Happy Mother’s Day! I hope it’s special and that you are remembered for all the goodness that you share daily. What a gift it is to be able to care for those you love!
Here’s a book I gave to my mother years before she passed. I cherish this book. The sweet little verse of tucking me in is what I loved the most!
